	INTERESTED IN CONSIGNMENT OR SELLING?
	The Hal Empie Gallery is actively seeking to buy and consign original western works by Hal Empie. We are also searching for the original Hal Empie western cartoon postcards called Empie Kartoon Kards. The Hal Empie gallery purchases and consigns original paintings by Hal Empie. We have acquired works through estate settlements, individuals with no heirs, collectors that are downsizing, divorces, and various other circumstances. There are many reasons why art resurfaces for resale on the secondary market. If you are interested in selling or consigning your original Hal Empie western painting, or if you would like to know the value that your piece would sell for today, please carefully follow these steps: Send 35mm photographs, 4"x6" in size or larger. Photograph the fronts and backs of each piece. If there is information on the back, if it does not show up in a photo, please write it on a separate piece of paper. Photograph signatures, dates, titles. Photograph any wear, tears, cracks, chips or scratches....if any. If your painting is on canvas, take it out into the bright sunlight and inspect it for tiny hairline cracks. Note, if any, in a photograph. Be sure to include the frame in at least one of the photos. Please include dimensions of the work, and not the dimensions of the frame. There is no charge for appraisals. We do, however, keep the photographs for our records. All photographs will be donated to one of the archives that house Empie family papers. After you receive the appraisal, you can then make your decision. If you do decide that you would like to sell or consign the piece, please contact us and we will be happy to send all the information for your consideration.
