The Hal Empie Gallery is actively seeking to buy and consign original western works by Hal Empie. We are also searching for the original Hal Empie western cartoon postcards called Empie Kartoon Kards. The Hal Empie gallery purchases and consigns original paintings by Hal Empie. We have acquired works through estate settlements, individuals with no heirs, collectors that are downsizing, divorces, and various other circumstances. There are many reasons why art resurfaces for resale. If you are interested in selling or consigning your original Hal Empie painting, or if you would like a courtesy evaluation, please carefully follow these steps:
There is no charge for this service. In lieu of a fee we keep the photographs and request that you make a donation to the Graham County Historical Society Museum. Please make the check out to them and note on the check "Hal Empie Room". Your donation is tax deductible. (Your check is you receipt.) All photographs will be donated to one of the archives that house Empie family papers. These archives require the specifications described above. After you receive the information, you can then make your decision. If you do decide that you would like to sell or consign the piece, please contact us and we will be happy to send all the paperwork for your consideration. There are several different museums looking for donations of original paintings by Hal Empie. If you are interested, we can put you in touch with the museum contact. Check with your tax consultant and let us know... we are happy to help! All artworks by artist Hal Empie are individually copyrighted. All copyrights are owned by the Hal Empie heirs. Sale of such copyrighted materials does not include the sale of rights to reproduction in any form unless specifically granted by the heirs in writing.
