"Stories of Arizona", a 13 part series of mini biographies is now available for homes, schools and libraries. On DVD and VHS video, the series of Arizona profiles airs on the Public Broadcasting stations. The video is nearly 2 hours long and includes profiles of Arizonans who have made history.
Hal Empie (1909 - 2002), famed Western artist, cartoonist and pharmacist is featured on the series. He was born in Safford before statehood and lived and worked in Arizona his entire life.
